The latest leaked information about the nuke event in Call of Duty Warzone suggests that the destruction of the Verdansk map will now take place in the month of April rather than March. Many had assumed that the event would take place at the start of Season 2 of Warzone, but it now looks more likely it will be some sort of tie in with an upcoming zombie outbreak in Verdansk. The official Call of Duty Twitter account has even teased some sort of catastrophe with fictional news reports.
Rumours, that the Verdansk map will be destroyed and permanently removed from Warzone have been circulating for many weeks. Many have reported that Activision and Raven Software are planning some sort of massive event that would mark the end of the battle royal map, which will then be replaced with a completely new location.
Of there has been no word from the developer about such an event, casting some doubt on the truth of the leaks.
