Batman is the crime fighter superhero of Gotham City, a tortured, brooding vigilante dressed almost like a bat to fight against the crime and strike fear in the hearts of criminals. He uses his public identity Bruce Wayne, a billionaire industrialist and notorious playboy. Although Batman Doesn’t have any special superpowers, but still he is the world’s greatest detective and a great tactionist, he is one of the world’s smartest men and greatest fighters. His physical prowess, technical and tactical thinking make him an incredibly dangerous opponent. He was also a founding member of the Justice League.
Batman has served as a member of various teams, including the Justice League, Justice Society of America, and the Outsiders. Batman is also the founder and leader of various DC Superhero Team like Bat-Family, Batman of All Nations and Batman Incorporated. He also goes by numerous names like “The Dark Knight” “The Caped Crusader” “World’s Greatest Detective” “and Defender of Gotham”.
DC has featured Batman in many comic books, including comics published under its imprints such as Vertigo and Black label, he is being considered DC’s flagship character since 1990s. The longest running Batman comic :Detective Comics, is the longest running comic book in United States. The Dark Knight is frequently depicted with other superheroes like Superman and Wonder Woman ass the founding members of Justice League, and the Outsiders.
In addtiton to Bruce Wayne, other characters such as Batman persona, such as Jean paul Azrael in the 1993-94 “Knightfall” storyline, Dick Grayson as Robin (first) from 2009 to 2011, and Jace Fox, the story of Wayne’s ally Lucius Fox since 2021.
DC has also published comics featuring alternate versions of Batman, including the incarnation seen in Dark Knight Returns.
