Captain America since his introduction to the world in March 1941, Cap’s actually accumulated a pretty cool arsenal of superpowers himself. There’s a ton of stuff that the famous red, white, and blue boy scout can do that we just haven’t seen in the MCU yet.
Captain Steve Rogers aka the First Avenger was rejected by the U.S. Army during the World War II due to low physique. He later volunteered for Project Rebirth, where he received the Super Soldier Serum developed by Dr. Abraham Erskine.
The Super Soldier Serum enhanced his frail body to the peak of human physicality. As the Sentinel of Liberty alongside his best friend Bucky Barnes and the Invaders to fight against the German Army and H.Y.D.R.A. soldiers and Red Skull. In the final days of the war, an accident left Cap frozen in a state of suspended animation until he was revived in modern times.

After staying in ice for 66 years, when he woke up in the modern age, to continue the battle with his new allies, the Avengers. Cap is loyal to no politician or government, and instead.
