Hal Jordan is the most well know Green-Lantern. He was the first human ever inducted in the Green Lantern Corps, and has been hailed as the greatest Green Lantern of all time. Hal is also the founding member of Justice League of America.

Hal Jordan is a former fighter pilot who works for Ferris Aircraft as a test pilot, a member and occasionally leader of an intergalactic police called the Green Lantern Corps. He is also a founding member of Justice League, alongside well known such as Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. Woman. He fights evil across the universe with a special ring which gives him various superpowers but is usually portrayed as one of the protectors of Sector 2814, where Earth 1 resides.

His powers are derived from his power ring Green Lantern battery, which in the hands of someone capable of overcoming great fear, allows the user to channel their willpower, into creating all fantastic constructs. Jordan uses his power to fly, even though the vacuum of space, to create shields, swords, and lasers, and also make his costume, which protects his human identity on Earth.

During the 1990s, Jordan also approached appeared as a villain. The Emerald Twilight and Zero Hour:Crisis in Time! Storylines became the villain Parallax following the destruction of Coast city, he killed most of the members of Green Lantern Corps, and he also threatened to destroy the universe.

In Subsequent years, Parallax was revealed to be a cosmic entity which has corrupted Hal’s mind. In the time when Hal return to being a Green Lantern from Parallax, Jordan briefly served as Specter, a gent of God and them embodiment of his wraith. Hal’s first live action appearance was in the 1978 television Legends of the Superheroes, played by Howard Murphy.
