Billy Batson (aka Shazam), is a young hero, empowered with the gifts of ancient gods and mythological figures by the Wizard. He later changed his name to Captain, so he could not say the word SHAZAM as it will bring back to his original form Billy Batson.
Shazam was originally created for Fawcett Comics as a magical analog to DC Comics Superman Shazam, has stood out for being one of the most wholesome superhero comics. In his regular form, he is just an orphaned teenager, named Billy Batson, when he speaks the magical word ‘SHAZAM’ he can transform into Earth’s Mightiest Hero. In DC Comics, he is the guardian of the Fawcett City, he joined the superhero teams like Justice League, Justice Society of America and many others far saving the earth from various threats.
