Victor Von Doom (aka Doctor Doom) is a super genius and megalomaniac, Doctor Doom the dictorial ruler of the Eastern European nation of Latveria. Victor was born in a Romani Camp, the son of a witch in named Cynthia, who died after making a deal with the demon Mephisto. Swearing revenge, Victor spent his life in sharpening his skills in both science and magic.
In his academic youth, Doom was the college rival of Reed Richards (aka Mr. Fantastic). When he was trying to meet his late mother using a machine, he was injured, due to this his face was heavily damaged. He then roamed the whole world until he was taken by a tribe in Tibet, which helped him in forging a suit of armor topped off by an iron mask to hide his face. After being regaining his confidence and will, Doctor Doom returned to his homeland, using his lifetime skills to seize power as its new ruler.
Although Doom wishes to bring order and betterment to humanity, he intends to enforce this goal by his own hand and with an iron fist. He becomes ruthless and prideful, Doctor Doom came into conflict with the superhero community at large, but The Fantastic Four were his biggest enemies due to his past history with Mr. Fantastic (Reed Richards). Victor blamed Reed for the accident that costed him his face.
Victor is not alone, he does have great allies, his adoptive son Kristoff Vernard, Victorious. Doctor Doom has had several brushes with great power, stealing it from beings such as the Silver Surfer, the Beyonder, and the Scarlet Witch. Doom’s greatest achievement was when he took the nigh-omnipetance of the Beyonder and reshaped the remains of the Multiverse into Battleworld, holding supreme power as God Emperor until his ultimate downfall and the restoration of all these by Mr. Fantastic.
Till now, we have seen the all the negative and hazardous things done by Doctor Doom. Doom has also helped other superheroes from stopping threats that would have destroyed Earth. Doctor Doom proved to be a key player in stopping a worldwide alien invasion, orchestrated by the ancient evil of Varnare. Doom rescued Doctor Strange to fight Darkforce, in temporary exchange for the mantle of Sorcerer Supreme.
