A famous YouTuber and Call of Duty Warzone player has discovered an exploit way to unlock an unreleased pistol called Sykov before its official release in the game.

The upcoming content comes as controversy continues to rage about weapons that have been buffed in Warzone, due to this fans are getting angry and showing their frustration on social media sites. This is part of an effort by the developers to ensure that the gameplay remains balanced and fair for all players.

The second season of Warzone is set to launch on February 24, meaning that fans don’t have to wait long to access the new content. A trailer for the new Call of Duty Warzone season was released on February 16, giving fans a glimpse of what they can expect from Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and the battle royale game in the coming weeks.

This followed a first season that included new maps, weapons, and operators alongside a series of additional gameplay modes.

Players can unlock and use a Call of Duty Warzone gun earlier than its official release exploit was discovered by influential gamer and YouTuber JGOD.

In a video posted to YouTube, the streamer showed users how they can get access to the leaked weapon. The Sykov pistol is seemingly meant to launch as part of Season 2 of Warzone, it’s a fully – Automatic gun that excels at close range.

Of course, that might change by the time it is released properly, with the developer making necessary changes to make the weapons fairer.

Unlocking the Sykov is a fairly easy process. Players have to finish five matches with four pistol kills and then spot a blinking green in the Warzone menu.

If that symbol does not appear, players can start a co-op survival match and access the weapon station to check their progress. Once unlocked, players can add a variety of attachments, including an 80-round magazine and an Akimo configuration.

Recently, Raven software issued a new patch for Call of Duty Warzone that fixed two problematic bugs. The glitches included invisible hitmakers, so players didn’t know whether their shots were actually enemies or not, weapons XP was also not being added in the online mode. The update seemingly fixed both the issues, resolving two of the biggest recent complaints with the game.

Although it is only a matter of a few days before Season 2 of Call of Duty Warzone drops, fans will undoubtedly still be excited about the Sykov pistol. However, players, should not get accustomed to the weapon that will likely change in the coming weeks as the developers ensure to make it remain balanced.
