Will Loki Die in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty?

Will Loki Die in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty?

Loki was not able to stop Thanos in Avengers Infinity War, and now the Original Avengers villain is set to fail again against Kang ahead of Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. After dying in Avengers Infinity War’s Opening Sequence, Loki was brought back to the MCU, when the Avengers did the time heist to get the Infinity Stones, that’s when Loki escaped with the Tesseract.

Now technically a Loki variant seen in the Avengers to Infinity War is back, and he is once again on the path of redemption.

Meeting multiple Loki variants, Sylvie. However, while this Loki is no longer a villain despite not having experienced most of the original God of Mischief MCU timeline, his decisions may have helped doom the multiverse. Helping Sylvie to get to HE WHO REMAINS (Kang’s Variant), who unleashes the Multiverse of Madness, also unleashing Kang and the Council of Kangs now rising as a threat.

In Ant-man and the Wasp: Quatumania Loki is tracking Kang

Though Kang the Conqueror appeared in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania Jonathan Major’s multiple-character journey began in Loki’s season 1 finale. By Incorporating He Who Remains as a Kang variant and revealing that the time-traveling Avengers villain was behind the TVA.

Loki Season 1 created a strong link between its titular character and the MCU’s Multiverse Saga. Loki, who experienced the power and dangers of the TVA and later learned the truth about its creator, is one of the few main MCU characters who know about Kang.

Loki Sees Victor Timely

In Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumanina’s second-post-credit scene suggest that Loki and Mobius are tracking down Kang at a different point in time. The TVA duo was watching a presentation of Victor Timely, who in Marvel Comics is the actual Kang hiding in the 20th Century.

God of Mischief was quite scared of seeing Victor Timely, all but confirming that at least Loki and Morbius are aware of Kang’s history. Whether Loki and Mobius already know that Kang was exiled to the Quantum Realm and was presumably killed by the Ant-Man and Wasp.

So Will God of Mischief succeed against Kang Ahead of Avengers 5

God of Mischief and Mobius Kang’s investigation might help the Avengers face the Council of Kang’s multiversal threat, yet Loki simply cannot succeed against Kang and his variants, as Kang’s story continues through Avengers 5. What the Avengers will face in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty now that the main Kang is probably dead (as it is still a mystery), although the Council of Kang appears to be a real threat.

Council of Kang

Therefore, even though God of Mischief and Mobius have a sort of win against the Kang or any other Kang the Conqueror, they still not be able to save the Multiverse right away- that should only happen in Avengers: Secret Wars.

For there needs to be a conflict in the Kang Dynasty, God of Mischief has to fail in Phase 5. This creates a similar scenario to Avengers Infinity War, in which Loki tried to stop Thanos before it all begin he failed. Loki met Thanos before the Avengers, which is also similar to the current storyline of Loki and Kang. Interestingly, God of Mischief might once again be the bridge between Avengers and Kang the Conqueror variants.

So will the God of Mischief Die in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty?

Loki fights Kang the Conqueror

If God of Mischief cannot stop Kang the Conqueror and his variants before Phase 6, then there is the possibility God of Mischief dies in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. Kang the Conqueror has killed many Avengers before, including Thor, but the villain has yet to kill an important character on screen and Loki is now on Kang’s way.

Thanos Killing Loki in Avengers Infinity War

That said God of Mischief dying in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty would make it way too similar to Avengers: Infinity War, in which the God of Mischief died at the hands of Thanos at the beginning of the film. After learning so much about Kang and the multiverse, Loki deserves to fight against Kang with help of the Avengers.

Having God of Mischief as one of the heroes in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty would bring something new to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, even though God of Mischief has gone through at least two redemption arcs in a complicated Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline.

Kang fight the Avengers

While the God of Mischief has fought side by side with Thor (God of Thunder) in Thor: Ragnarok and was ready to sacrifice himself for his brother in Avengers: Infinity War, the character has yet to fight alongside the Avengers.

If God of Mischief stays alive till Avengers The Kang Dynasty, he might fight alongside the Avengers to defeat Kang the Conqueror and the Council of Kang, although God of Mischief’s perspective he just fought against the Avengers.
