10 Ogun
The highly skilled ninja known as Ogun knew Wolverine for years and helped him train as a samurai warrior, though his obsession with dark mystic arts — including the ability to cheat death-soon turned him against his student.
Ogun was able to develop a technique of psionic possession that he attempted to use to first take over Wolverine before he sets his sights on Kitty Pryde.
After Ogun’s death, his spirit returned to possess a few other hosts until he settled on an enhanced soldier named Sharp, leading him to take on the name Shogun. He now had possession of not only his years of martial arts tranining and dark mysticism but the skills of Sharp and many others he had possessed.

9 Sabretooth
While Victor Creed/ Sabretooth is easily one of Wolverine’s most dangerous enemies due to his incredible ferocity, mutant healing factor, and razor-sharp claws that can tear through bones, he isn’t as physically strong as Wolverine’s other enemies.
However, his intimidating stature and feral abilities still make him a potent threat to anyone he encounters, and he has been fighting Wolverine in a seemingly endless series of battles over decades, that really test each of their healing factors.

8. Bloodscream and Roughhouse
The enforcers known as Bloodscream and Roughhouse encountered Wolverine quite a few time over the years, giving them a few chances to display their remarkable strength. Bloodscream was an innocent vampire from the 17th century whose strength increased depending on how well-fed the ruthless villain. He also regularly transformed his victims into mind-controlled drones.

7 Romulus
Wolverine only encountered the fereal mutant with similar claws and abilities later in his life. though he learned that Romulus had actually been manipulating mutants in his bloodline and other feral mutants across the centuires.
His origins as a new species of lupine mutants may have been called into question, but his incredible healing factor and enhanced strength were displayed more than once during their battles. The limits of his strength were never really tested, and Wolverine was forced to exile him to another dimension in order to deal with his powerful threat.

6 Cyber
Silas Burr was a mutant who used his strength and reflexes to become a mercenary. He encountered Logan a few times, and weirdly, Burr even raised Logon’s son Daken without the hero’s knowledge. However, Burr was then transformed into the villain named Cyber by Romulus, who bonded adamantium to his skin, for enhancing strength.
Cyber was one of Wolverine’s strongest enemies. His death led to a series of psomic possessions that saw him take control of other bodies, like the super-strong mutant named Milo Gunderson and the deceased body of the hero known as Hornet.

Omega Red debuted in the X-Men comics in the 90s, and he quickly made a name for himself as one of the team’s deadliest enemies. Arkady Rossovich was a bloodthirsty serial killer turned soldier who became a test subject for Russian scientists who made him even deadlier.
Omega Red has a death toxic death spore virus and a need to feed on lifeforce of others, which he did be draining them after they were ensnared by the carbonadium (synthetic adamantium) colis housed within his arms.
Omega Red’s strength also increases exponentially depending on how much life energy he has absorbed, making him capable of incredibly impressive feats of strength.

4 Sentinels
The X-Men were targeted by a number of different humans who hated and feared mutants, though not all of them who were left were as deadly as Boliviar Trask. Trask created the mutant hunting robots program known as Sentinels.
Wolverine was especially skilled at tearing into a Sentinel and disabling it with his adamantium claws, though with the problem with Sentinels is that they always come in fleets and could easily overpower their targets with their combined robotic strength.

3 Lazaer
Wolverine had known about his powerful healing factor for years, it wasn’t until he nearly died on the battlefield during the 1st World War that he truly trusted his limits. However, there was more to his ability to come back from these situations, as was revealed by the first time he encountered Lazaer, the Angel of Death also known as Azrael.
As Lazaer claimed departed souls from the battlefield, he encountered Wolverine, who fought and defeated the Angel of Death, earning his right to return to the land of the living. This became a recruiting battle between the two every time Logan was about to die from his injuries, though he was able to overcome Lazaer’s incredible strength in each encounter.

2 Lobo (while Marvel and DC Universe Crossover)
Lobo is an intergellactic bounty hunter, the last Czarnian. Known for his colorful and rapid generation, he has been a nuisance more than a threat.
DC’s “Main Man” is the alien bounty hunter known as Lobo, an incredibly strong Czarnian with a powerful healing factor, that could regrow his body from a single drop of blood. He also has a hardened personality that was given a darker edge in 90’s, which is when he first encountered Marvel’s Wolverine.
The Marvel vs DC crossover event united heroes and villains from both comic universes as they were matched together in battles to decide the fate of the world. Wolverine faced off against Lobo that looked frustratingly took place largely off-panel. Lobo’s healing factor is five times faster than Wolverine’s, due to his incredible strength, and czarnian physiology he would have defeated Wolverine.

1 Hulk
Hulk was wolverine’s first target when the two furst met during Logan’s debut in the The Incredible Hulk #180. However, the real reason Wolverine had been sent by the government turned out to be the Monster Wendingo, whol would become another recurring threat whose strength levels rivaled some of other Wolverine (aka Logan) villains.
Hulk is, always, the strongest one there is, and his gamma-irradiated stength increases along with his anger. He has had quite a few memorable dust-ups with Wolverine over the years. It created a unique bond of respect between the two characters that has made them good friends.
