Spider-Man will be appearing in these 6 movies and shows

Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures have plans to bring the famous Web-crawler superhero Spider-Man into upcoming movies and TV shows.

Although there are multiple versions of SpiderMan now in the spotlight across both studios, the web-crawler superhero hasn’t been the Multiverse-shattering efforts of SpiderMan: No Way Home.

Recently the hero came back to the forefront of comic book movie news when Disney+ announced plans for multiple SpiderMan old movies to hit the streaming service as the fans have been waiting for new projects to be made.

Seeing the old Spidey movies is great but now the question arises-when where will our beloved web crawler superhero be seen?

1. Spider-Man Fresh Man Year

Spider-Man: Freshman Year will give the web-slinger his own animated show produced by Marvel Studios, setting him early in high school days as he learns how to use his newfound superpowers. The series is also set to bring iconic Spidey villains like Green Goblin, Chameleon, Scorpion, and more although there are plenty of questions surrounding the series.

Due to several behind-the-scenes issues in Marvel Studio’s animation department, this series is facing a major delay and won’t be released on Disney+ until sometime in 2024, with reports noting Season 1 team was let go before the show movies into Season 2, there are concerns about what the final results will be when the show makes its full arrival.

2 Spider-Man 4

Shortly before Spiderman: No Way Home was released, Sony and Marvel confirmed Spiderman 4 is already in the development stage, bringing Tom Holland’s hero black for his 4th solo movie. After seeing the young hero team up with previous Spider-Man actors Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire web-slinger against a handful of past villains – Dr. Octopus, Green Goblin, Sand Man, Electro, and Lizard, he has plenty of opportunity to shine in a world that doesn’t know he exists.

Theories are already being made by fans for what should be included in the 4th MCU Spidey movie, and many big names also hoping to find their MCU characters as part of the next web-slinger movie. There are also some small indications pointing to when it may release.

Tom Holland’s Spidey still has a long journey ahead of him as the MCU continues to expand.

3 Spider-Man: Across the Spider-verse

Miles Morales will also make his long-awaited return to the big screen this summer, the sequel to 2018’s animated hit Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse. Shameik Moore”s young hero will jump headfirst into the deep end of the Multiverse alongside Hailee Steinfeld’s Gwen Stacy, with the film’s trailer teasing the vast expansion of other worlds.

Footage released for this movie teased an incredible number of Spidey Varinats, including Oscar Issac’s Spiderman 2099, as they all prepare for an immediate battle against Jason Schwartzman’s Spot, and with potential drama in Miles’s family. Sony hopes to bring an even bigger story in the sequel that was delivered in the previous film.

4 Spider-Man: Beyond the Spiderverse

Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy will be back in action together in Sony’s 2024 threequel, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-verse after Across the Spider-verse adds to the narrative this summer.

Thus far, there isn’t a lot known about Beyond the Spider-verse’s story other than the fact that the Spot will be back causing even more mayhem for Miles Morales, Gwen Stacy, and their team of heroes. This film is supposed to release in theatres on March 29, 2024.

5 What if Season 2

After Spider-man played a key role in Episode 5 of What If? putting on Doctor Strange’s Cloak of Levitation and helping to fight a zombie invasion, it’s expected Peter Parker will be back for more in the series 2nd season.

Recently in an interview on Screen Rant with What If? Director Bryan Andrews told about Spider-Man’s possible return in Season 2, Andrews also said how much he loves “Spider-Man” and hopes that he will be returning in the future.

6. Avengers The Kang Dynasty

Avengers: The Kang Dynasty is still in the early development stage 2 years ahead of its release, there are only a few characters rumored to appear in the next adventure of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. With Spider-Man appearing in both Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, the expectation is that this young hero will be part of the team.

One more rumor is spreading that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man will actually be the leading the Avengers, also he would a bigger than ever before, as he will have to go back into a world that doesn’t know who Peter Parker is.
