Upcoming Marvel Movie’s Releasing in 2023 and Beyond

While the MCU is set to release a multitude of projects in the Multiverse Saga, including several non-Marvel movies are also billed for release in the upcoming years. Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures Entertainment are still holding up their deal which allows Tom Holland to portray Spider-Man (aka Peter Parker) in the MCU, but Sony is also developing 2 different franchises focused on Spider-Man.

These 2 different franchises based on Spider-Man will include characters that aren’t part of Marvel Studios’ epic shared universe.

In 2022’s San Diego Comic-Con and D23 Expo Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige revealed some huge projects, for the MCU’s The Multiverse Saga such as Blade, Captain America: New World Order, and Phase 6 Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars.

Sony also revealed a great deal of content for their upcoming slate in their Spider-Man Universe (that is yet to include Peter Parker himself), with both Studios working with new directors to bring distinct tones to their franchise.

After Disney’s acquisition of Fox in 2019, effectively ending the X-men franchise, Marvel Studios, and Sony is leading the charge, with several Marvel movies set to release in 2023 and beyond.
